FireLily started because of my beautiful cousin (and best friend), who’s an indie author. Being part of her journey to publication opened my eyes to just how much love, time, and dedication goes into every book. It made me want to create a space that truly supports indie authors and helps their stories find the readers who will fall in love with them.

Through FireLily, I get to cheer authors on, share their stories, and bring their books to readers in a way that feels personal and special. The fire lily isn’t just a flower - it blooms after wildfire, symbolising resilience, renewal, and starting fresh. That meaning sits at the heart of FireLily, and a little nod to my own story too.

I’m Kate, a book-obsessed Aussie with a soft spot for indie stories, and FireLily has grown into more than a store - it’s a little community. Today, we offer signed indie books across every genre, along with our Signature Boxes packed with author swag and thoughtful extras.
