FireLily isn’t just about books, it’s about the experience around the stories you love. Each Signature Box is curated with the author, so every book is hand-signed and often comes with exclusive swag or even a handwritten note.

We work closely with indie authors to create intentional boxes with extras that truly complement the story. No fillers, no fluff.

The biggest difference with our book boxes? There are no lock-in contracts. Subscriptions are completely flexible, so you can pause, skip or cancel anytime. Stay because you love it, not because you’re locked in.

FireLily is also home to the FireLily Bookshop, a multi-genre indie bookstore where you can browse across genres and build your TBR in one place. Orders over $70 ship free, and our loyalty program gives you $10 off for every 100 points earned.

Every book in our collection is carefully rated using our Spice Rating system, so you can easily find your perfect match. What's more, we go the extra mile by getting the inside scoop straight from the authors themselves!

Each FireLily Signature Box subscription is tied to a specific genre: Flame (Medium Spice), Inferno (Hot Spice), or Phoenix (Fantasy). You can subscribe at any time, and your first payment will cover the current quarter’s box for your chosen genre.

Boxes ship mid-quarter in their designated month. Orders placed the month before the scheduled shipment are treated as pre-orders and ship with that quarter’s box. Orders placed during or after the scheduled month will ship as soon as possible—some boxes may ship multiple times per quarter to ensure everyone gets theirs. Subscriptions are recurring but flexible—you can pause, skip, or cancel at any time.

FireLily features handpicked indie books across romance, fantasy, and other reader-loved genres. Depending on the box you choose, you might receive anything from a fun rom-com to a darker, spicier read or an immersive fantasy story.

Each book is chosen for strong characters and a plot that keeps you turning pages. Some are light and easy, some are intense, and some are a little unhinged in the best way.

Genres may vary, but every box is built to surprise you with a great indie read worth your time.

You can subscribe to any genre at any time—there’s no strict cut-off. Boxes only ship during their designated month in the quarterly cycle, but orders placed the month before, during, or the month after will all receive that quarter’s box.

For example, if the Fantasy (Phoenix) box is scheduled to ship in June, anyone subscribing in May, June, or July will receive that same June box. This ensures every box is carefully curated and delivered on time.

You can update your subscription details—like your payment information or delivery address—through your account login page. If you’d like to switch to a different genre, you’ll need to pause or cancel your current subscription and subscribe to the new genre separately. You can also skip or cancel any shipment before the next month’s box is sent, so you’re never charged for a box you didn’t actively choose.

Currently, FireLily is able to only ship Australia wide and to New Zealand (for a small extra charge). We are unable to offer international shipping at this time. But keep checking back, because as soon as we can we will!

Standard shipping typically takes 1-5 business days for VIC, NSW, ACT, SA, and QLD, and 5-12 business days for NT, WA, TAS, and NZ. However, boxes often arrive much earlier!

Absolutely! You will receive a shipping confirmation email which will allow you to track your order through Australia Post.

We typically try to choose books by local indie Authors who only have a small online following to minimise the chances of you having already read it. You can request a replacement or refund within 14 days if your item is defective, damaged, or not as described. We'll replace the item with something of equal value if possible, or offer store credit or a refund. Easy peasy!
